Sure Smile Orthodontic Treatment

Our office offers Shore Smile, orthodontic solutions to help restore alignment or straighten teeth to produce your most perfect smile.

What are Shore Smile aligners?

Clear, invisible aligners have been rising in popularity throughout the past decade as an excellent option for straightening the teeth, aligning them in the mouth, and creating a more perfect smile for customers.

They are often a preferred choice because they are less noticeable than the metal wires and brackets required for more traditional braces. Typically, your orthodontist or dentist will take a mould of your teeth to create the series of steps for switching out your clear aligners as you transition through to straight teeth. Trays are customised to fit your specific mouth, so they can be seamless in helping align your teeth.

Do I need clear aligners or metal braces?

For each individual patient, this question will need to be answered by your dental specialist. Ultimately, there are a few factors that might affect which type of teeth-straightening method is best for you.

The clear aligners bring two specific benefits. The first is that they are virtually unnoticeable when worn, meaning you can avoid the self-conscious feeling that sometimes comes with having metal braces. They’re also removable, so you can eat and drink without worrying about bits of food getting caught in the wiring, as you would with braces.

However, metal braces are sometimes the preferred option in cases where there are more severely crooked teeth that must be repaired with metal braces. There are more extensive hardware and offer specific solutions to dental issues.

What are the benefits of aligning my teeth?

Aligning and straightening the teeth is not just an aesthetic fix, but a structural one as well. When the teeth are straightened and corrected, your smile looks more vibrant and most individuals feel more comfortable smiling, laughing, and interacting with others.

By aligning the teeth, you also have better oral health. In aligning the teeth, your bite becomes more uniform, which makes it easier to chew and eat, close your mouth comfortably, and helps to alleviate gum disease and tooth decay, which are caused when food particles get trapped in gaps from misaligned teeth.
